WoW Dragonflight Tank Tier List Explained
(S Tier) Protection Warrior, Vengeance Demon Hunter
Usually, warriors are the ones who lead the charge into battle, tearing across the battlefield and rallying their allies, and intimidating their adversaries with furious shouts and terrifying banners. In this game, protection warriors are stalwart protectors who use shields to defend themselves and their allies. Their defensive abilities are currently unmatched, compared to other tanks. The class performs exceptionally well in terms of mobility because of abilities like Heroic Leap, Shield Charge, Fast Footwork, and others.
A Vengeance Demon Hunter uses fire and pain as his or her weapons. Those who follow the path of vengeance find strength in suffering. The Frailty talent will be your best friend and how you utilize it in Dragonflight will determine your success. In addition to being a powerhouse of self-healing, the Vengeance DH remains the mobility king by stacking up several talents to enhance the effectiveness of Frailty.
(A Tier) Brewmaster Monk, Blood Death Knight

The ability to stagger damage means they can deal massive amounts of damage if they stagger properly. This class has a high skill ceiling, so talented players are sure to succeed.
Blood death knights are dark guardians that manipulate and corrupt life energy to sustain themselves in the face of an enemy onslaught. In addition to swings of their weapons, Death knights use dark magic to damage enemies or render them vulnerable. Death and Decay is gaining some great buffs in Mythic+ AoE if you talent into the abilities that revolve around it.
(B Tier) Guardian Druid
As guardians of nature, Druids are unparalleled in their versatility when it comes to battle. A part of the reason for this is that druidism is more than just a fighting discipline; it’s a way of life rooted in ancient practices that even their origin is preserved in mythology passed down through millennia. Guardian Druids are great AoE tanks and thrive in those environments, but lack in single-target settings.
(C Tier) Protection Paladin
Paladins of protection use holy magic to shield themselves from attackers and to defend allies. Shields and plate armor enable them to mitigate physical damage quite well.
