WrestleMania 38 match between Sami Zayn and Johnny Knoxville turned out to be too good for the fans as it brought back Attitude era vibes.
Night 2 of WWE WrestleMania 38 saw one of the most awaited bouts between Sami Zayn and Johnny Knoxville at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas. Their feud started around four months ago and finally ended today.
It was a No Holds Barred match. Knoxville is known for his out of the top stunts, and given that he was at WrestleMania, he’s not going to miss out on the opportunity to what he has got.
Match started with Sami immediately nailing a Helluva Kick, dragging Knoxville to the floor, and sending him into the barrier. However, Knoxville makes a comeback and sprays a fire extinguisher at him. He then brings a stop sign and a trash can full of weapons into the ring, but Sami kicks him before he can use them.
Sami grabs a sheet pan, smacks Knoxville over the back, and pins him for a two count. Zayn goes to the ringside to pull a table, but it’s covered with mouse traps, and one catches him. He comes back in, but Knoxville smashes him with two trash can lids. Then crashes a stop sign over his back.
It went to the wire in the end. Knoxville stunned Sami as he grabbed him and launched him into the floor through the mousetrap table. The Jackass crew helps Knoxville bring the gigantic mousetrap into the ring. Knoxville found some trouble in unhooking the mousetrap as it hits him partially. However, it hits Sami harder and traps him under the traps for the win.
Johnny Knoxville and Sami Zayn’s fantastic show at the Night Two of WrestleMania 38. All the weapons and outside interferences definitely brought back the feelings of the attitude era.
