WWE and wrestling legend Ric Flair had his final match against Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarret while he teamed up with son-in-law Andrade El Idolo
The wrestling world is familiar with the legacy that Ric Flair has left over the years. The Nature Boy is one of the most flamboyant, technical, and excellent professional wrestlers of all time. Over the last 50 years, the legend has kept his fans entertained and in awe of his wrestling prowess.
The 73-year-old had his one final bout in the ring tonight. He teamed up with his son-in-law Andrade and went against Jeff Jarret and Jay Lethal. Before the match began, the legendary wrestler walked down the aisle in his famous robes and iconic walking style for, ‘Ric Flair’s last match.
Flair made his entrance with his iconic entrance theme wearing a white robe with blue trim. He also carried the famous big gold belt with him around his waist. The match saw Flair and Jarret start the bout. It proceeded with Flair slapping Jarret hard after the latter kept on talking trash. The match then proceeded with Jarret tagging in Lethal who then fought with Flair. While Flair locked Lethal and tried taking him down, Lethal countered it back with a slap. But, Flair replied with even a harder slap.
The match went back and forth between all four wrestlers with continuous mind games from Jeff Jarret. The match continued with the usual pattern of Jarrett and Lethal working against Andrade. The buildup went on to set up the hot tag for Flair to turn the crowd crazy. And it worked. Soon enough, Jarret smashed Flair’s head on the guard rails to the affair into a bloody one because how can it be Ric Flair’s last match if there’s not enough blood?
Ric also proved why he is the dirtiest player in the game after he faked a heart attack to get the upper hand. The match soon saw Flair take his nastiest bump in a long time after he received a suplex from Jay Lethal.
As the match neared its end, it witnessed a beautiful spot between all four wrestlers. It saw Jeff enter the ring with his signature guitar while Lethal held Flair in place but the moment Jeff Jarret tried hitting Flair with the guitar, Andrade came to Flair’s rescue. While Flair was moved to safety, it was Lethal who was struck on the head.
The match then saw its conclusion after Flair hit Jarret with a foreign object while the referee laid out cold. Flair locked Jarret in a figure-four-lock while a backup referee came in and count Jarret’s shoulders on the mat. And like that, Flair and Andrade were victorious in Ric Flair’s last match.
Several big names of the wrestling world made their way to Nashville Municipal Auditorium on Sunday evening to witness Ric Flair’s last match. The likes of, The Undertaker, Bret Hart, Michelle McCool, Santino Marella, Mick Foley, Al Snow, JBL, and DDP were at the event.
According to PWInsider, “The Hurricane” Shane Helms, Northeast Wrestling promoter Mike Lombardi, Mojo Rawley, Mickie James, Rikishi, Miro, CJ Perry (Lana), and Rey and Dominik Mysterio were all present there.

Ric Flair’s last match marked an end to an era and left several fans nostalgic and wanting for more, but we all are relieved to witness Ric Flair mark a safe and happy ending to his career.
