Linda Noskova

The 18-year-old has produced some impressive results this season. She won her first title in an ITF event in France. Noskova made her Grand Slam main-draw debut at the 2022 French Open and became the youngest Czech player to compete at a major since Nicole Vaidisova at the 2006 US Open and the youngest player to qualify for the tournament since Michelle Larcher de Brito in 2009.

In July, Noskova won her first $100k title at the Reinert Open in Versmold after defeating Ysaline Bonaventure in the final. Noskova won her first WTA Tour semifinal at the Prague Open, where she lost to eventual champion Marie Bouzkova. She also made it to the main draw of the US Open by winning three qualifying matches but lost in the first round.

Alycia Parks

The American youngster produced her best result at the 2022 Ostrava Open. She picked up her first top-20 win against Karolina Pliskova and followed it up with a win against Maria Sakkari. This was her first top-10 win and by virtue of this win, she made it to her first-ever WTA quarterfinal. She eventually lost to Barbora Krejcikova. Parks went on to win the doubles event, partnering with Caty McNally.
