WWE Superstar Omos made his debut in October 2020, and since then, he has not looked back. Starting his primary roster career with AJ Styles to get a compliment from the legendary Undertaker.
Even though the 7-foot-3 superstar became famous too soon after his debut in WWE, there are many things you must know about Omos. Here are the five things:
Not many people know that Omos didn’t have any background in wrestling when he joined the WWE Performance Center in October 2018. However, it was alongside some of the very established names when he did.
His batchmates include Matt Riddle, Mia Yim, Damian Priest, Humberto Carrillo and Chelsea Green. He was the most inexperienced of all, which was impressive.
Omos is someone who doesn’t mind going public about their relationship. As some keep to choose their relationships private.
The Young Superstar’s partner’s name is Chey. Although she is not a famous personality, her social media reveals that she is a health professional. Chey is Christian. Omos is very open about his partner, and Chey is an inspiration to him.
Omos has really humble beginnings. He is Nigerian by birth but decided to move to the United States of America for his career to make a living for himself.
At 15, Omogbehin boarded a plane from Lagos and ended up in the USA. He only had $1000 in his pocket. He studied in the States and played Basketball for a while. Later on, tried his luck in professional wrestling, and it worked for him as WWE signed him to a contract.
Omos is a food blogger in his free time. He has gone on record to say that he is a big-time foodie. He calls himself “Giant Foodie” the Nigerian started off by reviewing a Sushi Station on his Instagram account.
WWE Legend Triple H is reportedly a big fan of Omo’s. Recently he spoke in an interview with Metro UK about Omos and is confident that he has all the attributes to succeed in WWE. He praised the big man for putting in the effort.
“It’s funny, people just see what he does on TV, so they see him the one time a week on TV or whatever. They don’t see him in the gym still, at the PC. They don’t see him in the ring at the PC. They don’t see him training every day, still, to be something special. He’s putting in the effort. He just really is one of those hard-working, hard-work-ethic people that is putting in the effort to really be good at this, and I think he will be.”
