WWE’s Charlotte Flair and AEW star Andrade El Idolo celebrated their wedding in a grand fashion in Mexico on Friday
As per a report from People, Flair and Andrade had their wedding ceremony at Hacienda Mi Ranchito in Torreon, Andrade’s hometown. The stars finally tied the knot after several years of dating and being together. The ceremony was attended by several top wrestlers and WWE Superstars.
Andrade is among the top stars in All Elite Wrestling and Charlotte Flair, daughter of legendary wrestler Ric Flair is also one of the top female superstars in WWE. Charlotte is also often regarded as modern-day wrestling great. Ric Flair shared a wholesome picture of himself and Charlotte on Twitter. The picture has Charlotte Flair donning her wedding outfit. Ric wrote, “Congratulations To My Beautiful Daughter @MsCharlotteWWE & @AndradeElldolo Wishing You Nothing But Love & Happiness!”
The ceremony was also attended by Finn Balor, who also shared a lot of pictures from the event. In attendance also were Apollo Crews, Rey Mysterio, and Nia Jax.
According to People.com, Flair was supported by eight bridesmaids and was walked down the aisle by her father Ric Flair. Andrade’s eight uncles were his groomsmen.
What is next for Charlotte Flair in WWE?
We recently noted how Flair was written on television with a kayfabe injury owing to her wedding. Charlotte Flair was last involved in a match with Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania Backlash, where she lost the bout. Rousey had forced Flair to quit by putting her in a nasty armbar with the help of a chair. As a result, WWE announced that Flair has a fractured radius and will be out of action for some time.
Dave Meltzer noted that the former Smackdown Women’s champion will be back soon after settling down from her wedding with Andrade. She will reportedly will be involved in another championship feud upon her return.
