Batista is a former WWE champion while the nWo featured top stars Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, X-Pac and Hulk Hogan
The WWE shared a list of their 2020 Hall of Fame inductees with Batista, Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, X-Pac and Scott Hall all featuring.
A tweet shared by the company claimed that People and ESPN had broken the news of the five stars joining the illustrious Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame ceremony will take place on April 2 during WrestleMania week in Tampa Bay.
Batista was one of the top stars in WWE during his time and has had huge feuds with the Undertaker and Triple H.
The former champion was also part of the Evolution faction alongside Ric Flair, Triple H and Randy Orton.
Batista has also done a lot of work out side of the wring. The 50-year-old has featured in a James Bond film and in the latest Bladerunner move too.
However, Batista has immortalised himself as Drax the Destroyer in the Marvel superhero movies.
nWo joins the club
There is no need in introducing one of the legends of the business in Hulk Hogan. The superstar has been one of the biggest wrestlers since he stepped into the ring, and still makes fleeting appearances.
The nWo were one of the greatest factions during their run in WCW and had a huge rivalry with Sting too.
Kevin Nash was unable to make it big in the WWE after moving from WCW while X-Pac was one of the members of D-X alongside Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Road Dogg, Chyna and Billy Gunn.
Hall might not have done much in the WWE either, but he was excellent in his run with nWo.
This is just the first batch of inductees for the 2020 class and it will be interesting to see who else is up next.
WWE has made the Hall of Fame a great event just before WrestleMania and many stars, past and present, are seen at the show.
WrestleMania is the biggest event of the year and it starts off with a bang with this ceremony.
