WWE Elimination Chamber 2020 results, winners, grades, highlights and reaction
WWE Elimination Chamber 2020 results, winners, grades, highlights and reaction: The final PPV before WrestleMania 36 felt lacklustre as several top stars didn’t participate in the show.
None of the main championship belts were on the line and it just felt a little drab.
There were some bright spots, thanks to the Chamber matches, but there should have been more for the fans.
Kickoff tag match
For some reason, the kickoff tag match was about the Viking Raiders taking on Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins.
There was no real story behind why the pair fought and it were the Raiders that picked up the win.
Raiders beat Ryder and Hawkins
Grade C
The match went by as expected with the former champs getting the win. WWE could have used other fighters to progress some other storyline but wasted it.
Technical madness
The rivalry between Drew Gulak and Daniel Bryan reached another level as the pair finally got their hands on each other.
Gulak had spoken about targeting Bryan’s weak points and he made sure his opponent’s surgically repaired neck was hit hard.

The match was extremely technical as most of the action took place in the ring, but it was Bryan that came out on top with the ‘Yes lock’.
Somehow, some way… @WWEDanielBryan DID IT. #WWEChamber pic.twitter.com/dwQLAXf9EN

Bryan beats Gulak
Grade A
Two of the best technicians put on a clinic for the fans at Elimination Chamber. This was one of the few highlights from the show as Gulak was allowed to showcase his skills.
Bryan getting the win was the right result but Gulak had a huge role to play in this entertaining match.
US title clash
Humberto Carrillo got his chance to win the US title from Andrade and this was another quality match.
The champion started strongly but Carrillo did his bit too. As the challenger tried to make a comeback, it was El Idolo that took him out.

Carrillo made another comeback and seemed set to win the title, however, Andrade picked up the win thanks to the tights.

— WWE Universe (@WWEUniverse) March 8, 2020
Andrade beats Carrillo
Grade A
Andrade and Carrillo have had some great matches in the past and they did that again at Elimination Chamber.
Giving Andrade a not so clean win should see this rivalry continue, and this could go on till WrestleMania.
SmackDown tag title Elimination Chamber madness
It were the Usos and The New Day that started off this clash as Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler had the advantage of coming in last.
The Miz and John Morrison, Heavy Machinery and Lucha House Party were the other competitors in this clash.

— WWE Universe (@WWEUniverse) March 9, 2020
It looked bad for the Miz and Morrison with so much talent on board, however, the Lucha House Party was eliminated first.
Just like THIS, we're down to 3️⃣ as The @WWEUsos get rid of @HEELZiggler & @RealRobertRoode! #WWEChamber pic.twitter.com/CaLHTxBq27

Roode and Ziggler got rid of Heavy Machinery while The Usos got rid of the former.
Miz and Morrison defeated the New Day and then eliminated the Usos to keep hold of their titles.

Miz and Morrison win
Grade B
This was another example of how chaotic Chamber matches are, especially with so many wrestlers in the ring.
A lot of storylines were being progressed in this clash and it was a little surprising seeing the Miz and Morrison keep the titles.
A major return
AJ Styles and Aleister Black got it going in a No DQ match. The pair traded blows early on but it was the OC who came in and handed the advantage to Styles.
Just when it seemed like Styles was going to win the match, the lights went out and The Undertaker returned.

THIS JUST HAPPENED.#WWEChamber #Undertaker pic.twitter.com/t7JyKZSke2

He choked out the OC before hitting the chokeslam on Styles too. Black took advantage of this by hitting the Black Mass and picked up a win.
Black beats Styles
Grade B
The No DQ match allowed Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson to make it a 3-on-1 essentially.
However, their interference was limited and this also allowed The Undertaker to make an appearance.
The Deadman should face Styles in WrestleMania while Black picked up a huge win.
Raw tag title clash
Seth Rollins and Murphy were bent on reclaiming their Raw tag team titles but the Street Profits have been great since moving up to Raw.
They all… fall… DOWN.#WWEChamber @WWERollins @WWE_Murphy @AngeloDawkins @MontezFordWWE pic.twitter.com/gdKZWTX53c
— WWE (@WWE) March 9, 2020
AOP came out to distract the Profits but the Viking Raiders neutralised that effect. The telling moment of the clash happened as Kevin Owens came out with popcorn to distract Rollins and Murphy.
That allowed the Street Profits to pick up the win and keep their titles.
His work here is done.#WWEChamber @FightOwensFight pic.twitter.com/C5CQp9bN2i

Profits beat Rollins and Murphy
Grade B
This was another quality match and all four members did their bit to keep the crowd going.
Adding Owens to the story ensures that his rivalry with Rollins continues, and it will be interesting to see how that develops in the coming weeks.
IC handicap match
It was a three-on-one handicap match as Braun Strowman faced Cesaro, Sami Zayn and Shinsuke Nakamura.
The heels stayed fresh by continuously tagging each other out and it was a little surprising why all three couldn’t attack Strowman throughout the match.
Strowman tried his best to keep the title but it was Zayn who got the pin and the win.

Zayn wins IC title
Grade B
This was Zayn’s first singles belt since coming into the main roster and that was great.
However, there weren’t many positives to be taken from the match and Strowman should have another crack at it in WrestleMania.
Women’s Elimination Chamber match
All eyes were on Shayna Baszler as she wanted to be the one to face Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s title.
Well, @YaOnlyLivvOnce is officially in the match, and this is what @QoSBaszler thinks of that. #WWEChamber pic.twitter.com/HnmN7WR25E
— WWE (@WWE) March 9, 2020
Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan, Liv Morgan, Natalya and Asuka were the others standing in the way. However, Baszler made light work of all of them barring Asuka.
HERE. WE. GO.#WWEChamber @WWEAsuka @QoSBaszler pic.twitter.com/fmQXlP6EeM
— WWE Universe (@WWEUniverse) March 9, 2020
Baszler defeated all the women, one by one, and ran out the winner in a dominant display.
Baszler wins Elimination Chamber match
Grade B
The goal was to show that Baszler is the toughest woman to take on Lynch and WWE got that right.
This was one of her best showings since coming to the main roster and the match against Lynch at WrestleMania should be great.
