WWE Superstar Bayley believes that John Cena return was made due to her absence
WWE SmackDown Superstar Bayley has hilariously admitted that John Cena made a welcome return to WWE, due to her injury.
Bayley took to social media to hint that Cena was brought in due to her injury sarcastically saying:
“…..becauseeeee a cErTaIn SOMEONE is missing ……………………?
John Cena made his return to Money in the Bank, the same event where Bayley was supposed to challenge for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair.
Bayley then suffered a torn ACL, which she picked up while training at the WWE Performance Center. She was in a long drawn feud with Belair and was not able to win the title at Hell in a Cell. She is sure to miss the remainder of 2021 and will be back after a surgery to repair the ligament.
Cena, meanwhile, has returned after more than a year and will aim to create history at SummerSlam. He is a 16-time Champion and is tied with the Nature Boy, Ric Flair. The WWE Universal Championship will be on the line next months as Reigns defends against John Cena.
Why has John Cena returned?
John Cena shocked the world when he made his return after Reigns defended his title against Edge. Cena then arrived on WWE Raw, to explain his actions about his decision to return to his original home. He wants to create history against the man who is currently leading the brand from the front.
With Paul Heyman, Reigns looks unbreakable and unstopppable as he goes on in his career in WWE. He has finally delivered and Cena will be well aware of that. He is one step away from a record 17th title, but whose to say that Cena actually pulls it off.
