NXT 2.0 has been a gateway for new superstars to arrive and showcase their talent as every week there has been the introduction of contemporary superstars. Lash Legend is the most recent name in WWE NXT.

WWE’s most recent signing, Lash Legend, aka Anriel Howard, played basketball professionally for the Seattle Storm in the WNBA.

She is one of the most decorated athletes to ever be in the WWE.

Legend signed for WWE in late 2020 and was training for the WWE Performance Center. She made her first appearance in a backstage segment on September 21, 2021. 

Howard will make her debut talk show Lashing Out with Lash Legend soon.

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter writer Dave Meltzer, Howard is 23 years old and is the most decorated athlete that will sign the company. Howard has a height of 5ft 11 which will come in really handy in the ring. She played college basketball at Mississippi State, and Texas A&M. Howard played in the WNBA for Seattle Storm.

Howard was a second-round draftee for the Storm in 2019. She represented the senior team in 2019 for the Mississippi State, with an average of 16 points and eight rebounds per game. Howard led her team to the NCAA tournament.

Ariel played three seasons at Texas A&M, holds a school rebounding record with 1002 boards and has 9.8 per game. Her 439 rebounds in the 2017-18 season are the ninth most in the history of SEC.

Howard was even listed in the No. 16 prospect of the country after she came out of Westlake High School. She was a four-sport, including winning the state championship twice in the triple jump and super volleyball and cross country player.

A school’s homecoming queen and a National Honor Society winner. Howard is a three-time all-state player who scored more than 2000 points in high school and was nominated to the McDonald’s All-American team.

Howard wanted to do a degree in sports broadcasting. Lash Legend graduated from Texas A&M in August with a degree in Tele Communications Media Studies.

On May 6, 1997, Howard was born to Che’ Bledsoe, and she also has two brothers Chance & Brody.

Lash Legend will be the next big thing in WWE

Robbie Faulk, who covers the 24/7 sports in Mississippi State and hosts the Lightning podcast, took to Twitter to share about Anriel Howard making her debut as Lash Legend. 

He mentioned that Howard has a god-given athleticism and entertainment value, which is a natural fit for the company.

Next week @HailStateWBK great Anriel Howard makes her WWE debut as @lashlegendwwe. There couldn’t be a more natural fit for the business in terms of God-given athleticism and entertainment value. I think she’s going to be a great one.
