Till now, we have only one match that is confirmed for the Money in the Bank event. The RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair will defend her title against The Judgement Day member Rhea Ripley. The Nightmare won a Fatal-4 way match in the main event of RAW this week to become the No.1 contender for the women’s world title on the red brand.

We will obviously have the Men’s and Women’s Money in the Bank ladder matches but no wrestler has been scheduled for them as yet.

Which 8 Superstars could compete in the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match this year?

Usually we have 4 superstars each from the two respective brands – RAW and SmackDown who compete in the ladder match. Last year, Big E won the men’s match while Nikki A.S.H. won the women’s match.

We feel the following 8 superstars could compete in the men’s ladder match this year:

  1. Seth Rollins (RAW)
  2. Riddle (RAW)
  3. Finn Balor (RAW)
  4. Bobby Lashley (RAW)
  5. Shinsuke Nakamura (SmackDown)
  6. Drew McIntyre (SmackDown)
  7. Kofi Kingston (SmackDown)
  8. Sheamus (SmackDown)

Predicted winner – Finn Balor

Dark horse – Riddle

The following 8 female wrestlers might take part in the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match:

  1. Asuka (RAW)
  2. Becky Lynch (RAW)
  3. Alexa Bliss (RAW)
  4. Doudrop (RAW)
  5. Raquel Rodriguez (SmackDown)
  6. Lacey Evans (SmackDown)
  7. Aliyah (SmackDown)
  8. Xia Li (SmackDown)

Predicted winner – Lacey Evans

Dark horse – Alexa Bliss

Some matches that could take place on the card?

There are a number of matches that could take place on the card as things stand. We have listed a few of them below:

  • The Usos versus The Street Profits for the Unified Tag Team Championship

The Street Profits faced The Usos in a Championship Contender’s match on this week’s episode of RAW. The Smoke lovers outsmarted The Bloodline members to win via count out. While WWE has not mentioned when Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins will receive their title shot, it is expected that the match could take place at Money in the Bank. The Usos and The Street Profits have delivered some incredible moments in the ring and they have the ability to steal the show at Money in the Bank.

  • Natalya versus Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women’s Championship

Natalya won a Six-Pack Challenge to become the No. 1 contender for Ronda Rousey’s SmackDown Women’s Championship. The Queen of Harts overcame talented competitors like Raquel Rodriguez, Aliyah, Shotzi, Xia Li, and her tag team partner Shayna Baszler. We might see Natalya take on the former MMA star at Money in the Bank. If Natalya manages to beat Rousey, this will be her second reign as the SmackDown Women’s Champion. However, it is expected that the Baddest Woman on the Planet would not drop her title this soon.

  • Madcap Moss versus Happy Corbin

Madcap Moss and Happy Corbin have had a back and forth rivalry going on since the latter betrayed his friend a couple of months ago. Corbin brutally assaulted Moss a few weeks ago on SmackDown. The 2022 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal winner got his revenge at Hell in a Cell. However, the rivalry might go on for a little longer and eventually culminate at Money in the Bank.

When is Money in the Bank and where will it take place?

The upcoming Money in the Bank pay-per-view will take place on Saturday July 2, 2022. The venue for the event is the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. UFC 276 is also on the same day and in the same city.

WWE is expecting 12,000 spectators for the event and @WrestleTix confirmed a few days ago that the tickets have been sold out.

Where to watch?

The action can be streamed live on Peacock in the United States and on the WWE Network in other places.

Time – 8 ET/5 PT.
