WWE Hall of Famer Edge booked in a massive match-up for WrestleMania 38
Last week on WWE Monday Night Raw, Edge made an appearance with an open challenge for anyone willing to step up and have a match against him at WrestleMania 38 on April 2 & 3 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington Texas.
During Edge’s promo, he mentioned a few phrases that indicated either towards Cody Rhodes to AJ Styles. Last night on Monday Night, Raw Styles came to answer the Rated R Superstar.
“I accept,” Styles said
“I’m glad because I’ve wanted this watch for a long time.”
Both went on each other with a war of words as Styles made his way to the ring. The former World Heavyweight Champion turned heel and started hitting Styles with multiple cheap shots, including a good old fashioned kick to the nuts.
The crowd suddenly turned against the Rated-R superstar at the end of the segment, resulting in two con-chairs. It is clear now that Edge will be on the negative side of the whole feud.
Twitter reacts as Edge set to have a clash with AJ Styles at WrestleMania 38
For the first time, Edge will be facing AJ Styles at WrestleMania 38. It will be one of the biggest clashes in WrestleMania history. However, the match became fiercer as The Rated R Superstar turned heel.
Twitter went crazy as Edge is set for a match at WrestleMania with Styles. Most of the fans were thrilled with this match-up. Some consider it “The Biggest WrestleMania Match of All Time.” While some are excited about Edge turning heel.
