Charlotte Flair is regarded as one of the most remarkable women superstars in the history of WWE. Here are some of her best matches at WrestleMania.
Like her father, Charlotte Flair has become one of the most influential figures in women’s wrestling history. She is already a twelve-time WWE Women’s Champion. Let us look at some of the best matches of Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania.
The Queen made her main roster debut after WrestleMania 31. This fatal-four-way Elimination match at WrestleMania 33 where Bayley defended her title against some top competitors.
In the beginning, all women made sure to take Nia Jax out of the equation and eliminate her with a triple powerbomb. The end saw Bayley and Charlotte battle it out, but eventually, the champion retained the title.
Asuka won the inaugural women’s Royal Rumble match in 2018 and decided to take on SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair as her WrestleMania opponent.
Asuka had the opportunity to win her maiden main roster title and put her undefeated streak on the line. She was in control of the match initially, but The Queen came back and tried a Moonsault. In the end, Asuka tapped out and lost in WWE for the first time. The victory ended Asuka’s 914 days unbeaten streak.
The Queen became the winner of the 2021 Royal Rumble and chose NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley as the opponent for WrestleMania 36.
Ripley didn’t back down and dominated the match initially, but Charlotte, with her swiftness and experience, was able to overcome her. She caught Ripley with Figure Eight and won the title.
This was the first time when the Women’s Championship replaced the Divas Championship at WrestleMania 32. Three horsewomen, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and Sasha Banks, contested for the inaugural title.
The Queen started the match in control with a Figure Eight to Becky, but Sasha broke the submission with a Frog Splash. Neither of them was willing to give up, but the Queen won the first-ever Women’s championship by tapping out The Man.
This is easily the greatest match in Charlotte Flair’s career and certainly the biggest match in women’s WWE history. Becky Lynch, The Queen, and Ronda Rousey faced a triple threat to main event WrestleMania 35.
It was an epic and intense battle as all the women gave their best shots, but in the end, Flair was put through the table as Becky pinned Rousey to win the unified championship.
