Adam Cole faces Pat McAfee at NXT TakeOver XXX

Former NXT champion Adam Cole was unhappy over a comparison that WWE made. Cole has been involved in a huge rivalry with former NFL star Pat McAfee.

Things took an ugly turn recently on NXT as McAfee kicked Cole and knocked him out. Cole had gone onto McAfee’s show a few weeks back and got into a brawl. Things seemed to have calmed down on NXT but Cole threw water on the former NFL star and that kicked things off.

Now, Cole and McAfee meet at NXT TakeOver: XXX and WWE decided to ask a pertinent question.

Dominik Mysterio, the son of Rey Mysterio, will also make his in-ring debut soon. The younger Mysterio is to face Seth Rollins in a huge clash at SummerSlam as the Messiah has tormented Rey and Dominik.

WWE asked who had a better chance of winning their match, Dominik or McAfee, and that offended the former NXT champion.

Two big debuts coming up

While Cole seems confident of getting the win over McAfee, it won’t be that easy a clash for him.

McAfee is a proper athlete, even if the former footballer hasn’t stepped into the WWE ring. However, Cole should have a major advantage over his rival and start as the favourite in this tie.

Rollins should have the tougher fight on his hand given that Dominik has trained with WWE. The younger Mysterio also has picked up a trick or two from his father.

He is also much bigger than his father, and that gives him a fighting chance of taking the Messiah down.

Nevertheless, these are two huge debuts coming up on WWE. It won’t be easy for their McAfee or Dominik to get a win but stranger things have happened in WWE.
