The WWE and AEW Rumor Roundup for February 22, 2022, including Brock Lesnar going off-script, Undertaker, Cody Rhodes, and more.
These are all the latest rumor roundup in pro-wrestling, which are currently afloat. So let’s have a look at all the rumor roundups from WWE and AEW.
1.Brock Lesnar went off-script
In the main event of the WWE elimination chamber, Brock Lesnar dominated all of his opponents and just knocked them out of the ring and ended up winning the whole thing and becoming the WWE Champion again.
During the match, Lesnar wasted no time in waiting and destroyed his pod to enter the game. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Lesnar went off the script in the Elimination Chamber when he broke through his pod to enter the game. That wasn’t planned.
“Brock Lesnar smashed through a legitimate Elimination Chamber door to enter the EC match, and we are told that was not a planned spot. That is one scary man.”
2. Undertaker was supposed to make his appearance for the Elimination Chamber
A report suggested that there was a point where the Undertaker was going to make an appearance at Elimination Chamber, but it got changed, and he didn’t make the trip. Kurt Angle was also in line for the chambers before his talks with WWE fell through.
3. Cody Rhodes spotted at Florida
A new report from PWInsider indicates that Cody Rhodes was actually spotted in Florida at the Orlando International Airport within an hour of the show concluding.
Now, Sports Illustrated has reported that Cody would be travellingtraveling to WWE’s Performance Center as early as this weekend to film content for his WWE return.
Cody Rhodes recently departed from AEW after being one of the founders of the company.
4. The Usos vs Viking Riders match at the Chambers got cut for this reason
The Viking Riders were supposed to have a match against The Usos, but the game never happened as The Usos led an attack on Erik and Ivar before their match.
According to FightFul Select, that was actually the plan as Many believed that the production took a last-minute decision to cancel the match due to time constraints. The Pre-Match attack was right from the beginning. There would have been enough time for the game if WWE had cut down some repetitive promotional video packages. The game is now planned for a SmackDown show later this week.
