AJ Styles medical issue has kept him out of WWE in the past weeks
WWE superstar AJ Styles has not made any appearances in the WWE ever since losing to the RK-Bro at the Crown Jewel PPV. Further reports about his recent absence have revealed that the former WWE champion is out because of a non-injury medical issue.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Radio revealed the reason for his absence. He quoted:
“AJ’s got a non-injury medical issue is what I was told. I’m sure that he’s gonna yell and scream at some point about it but that is what they said, a non-injury medical issue.”
As reported by Meltzer there has been no confirmation about what exactly the issue is, however, it will be revealed at some point in the coming days. His partner Omos has been making solo appearances while the Phenomenal One is absent but he is yet to compete in a match since Crown Jewel PPV.
Styles and Omos faced off against RK-Bro at the Crown Jewel PPV for the Raw tag team championship. The latter duo was successful in retaining the title yet again. Styles and Omos were left hanging with their hopes of recapturing the title again.
However, it seems like the rivalry is far from over. During this past week on Raw, Omos went on to have an intense stare down with the RK-Bro who were the guest commentators for the match between The Dirty Dawgs and The Street Profits. It will be interesting to see how this rivalry unfolds in the coming days when Styles returns to WWE.
