AJ Styles lost out in the WWE Money in the Bank match to Otis

WWE star AJ Styles provided a worrying update on two stars after Sunday’s Money in the Bank match.

Daniel Bryan, Styles, Aleister Black, Otis, Baron Corbin and Rey Mysterio fought in the WWE Headquarters for the briefcase.

This was a unique Money in the Bank match with the participants having to run up to the top of the building to retrieve the briefcase.

The six men also clashed with the women, who also had their match simultaneously. This led to some incredible spots and some hilarious ones too.

However, there were a couple of dangerous moments in the final minutes of the match. Corbin was trying to get one over a couple of competitors. He then decided to toss Mysterio and Black off the top of the building.

Nothing much has been said about the two stars. However, Styles provided an update on them.

“No one has heard from @WWEAleister or @reymysterio, @BaronCorbinWWE is running from the law, @WWEDanielBryan is still rearranging furniture in the office, and I was CHEATED out of #MITB by @otiswwe! A travesty!”

A missed chance for Styles

The Phenomenal One had one dangerous moment where he was trapped in a room filled with Undertaker memorabilia, including a casket.

This was a nod to the Boneyard Match at WrestleMania 36. However, Styles survived and seemed set to win the briefcase.

However, he lost control of the case as Elias came out from nowhere to smash a guitar on Corbin. Corbin and Styles were on the ladder while Otis was waiting at the bottom. And the case just fell into the arms of the Heavy Machinery member.

Mysterio and Black are two of the top WWE stars, and hopefully, we will learn more about them soon.
