Former WWE Champion AJ Styles has signed another new contract with the company recently. According to Sean Ross Sapp Fightful, a recent report on Wrestling Observer Radio is accurate, and Styles has signed a “big money deal”.
AJ Styles has re-signed with WWE. Fightful Select has confirmed the story, which was mentioned recently on Wrestling Observer Radio. We’re told this is a “big money deal”
In January, Dave Meltzer has said on Wrestling Observer Radio that Styles has signed a contract replacing the three-year deal he had reportedly signed with WWE in 2019. However, there are no monetary terms given, but Meltzer said that the contract was for three or five years in length.
AJ Styles has a long way to go with WWE
The Phenomenal One initially signed with WWE in 2016 after a long run with Impact Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling. Since then, he has been one of the extraordinary superstars in the company.
Since his signing, Styles became a two-time WWE Champion, three-time United States champion, One-time Intercontinental Champion, and one-time Raw Tag Team Champion. In addition, he has had singles matches with several game giants like Chris Jericho, Shane McMahon, Shinsuke Nakamura and the phenom Undertaker.
This week on Monday Night Raw, Edge teased a potential match between him and AJ Styles at WrestleMania 38. Hence he used the word “Phenomenal.”
Even at the age of 44, Styles is still at the top of his game, and a WrestleMania game against someone of his calibre like Edge will be a treat for the fans to watch.
