WWE Superstar Alberto Del Rio is all set to make his return to the company
Alberto Del Rio was charged with sexual assault and arrested in San Antonio, Texas. The accusations were made by a woman who alleged that the former WWE Champion sexually assaulted her.
Now, since the charges have been officially dropped, he is all set for a possible WWE return. Del Rio is a resident of San Antonio and was in the headlines for many different reasons, even after he departed from WWE in 2016.
It is now revealed by Michael J Morales Torres, Press & Public relations director of Lucha Libre Online, that he is aiming for a possible return. However, he has focused on restoring his career in the pro wrestling industry.
“Alberto’s focus will be to get back to the squared circle he fell in love back when he was a child. Alberto will be restarting his career inside the pro wrestling and combat sports industry. Thank you for your attention.”
He has always shown interest in WWE, and it won’t be a surprise if he makes a return anytime soon to the company after 5 years.
