Former WWE Superstar Aleister Black has praises for Red Bull driver Max Verstappen after Austrian GP win
Former NXT Champion Aleister Black was full of admiration for fellow Dutchman and F1 driver Max Verstappen after his Austrian GP victory on Sunday.
Black tweeted about the Dutch driver calling him “something else.”
He also retweeted a fan’s post saying: “Absolutely. The man is unstoppable. Exudes so much confidence. Great to see.
This was said after a fan questioned if he could do the unthinkable and win his first ever World Championship and end the streak of Lewis Hamilton.
Hamilton is a 7-time World Champion tied with legend Michael Schumacher.
Verstappen led from start to finish to win his third consecutive Grand Prix and marks the 3rd win at the Red Bull Ring. Mercedes’ Valtteri Bottas finished 2nd for his best finish of the season, while Lando Norris completed the podium places. Norris raced ahead of Hamilton in the final laps to take the third spot in Spielberg.
The Dutchman is currently leading the top of the F1 World Drivers’ Championship standings and now extends his lead over rival Lewis Hamilton to 32 points.
Verstappen has already pulled off impressive wins in Austria twice, France, Monaco and Italy. His 32 point lead is the highest this season and he has been in devastating form over the last month. With 3 successive victories, he has distanced himself from the defending champion with ease.
Hamilton and Mercedes have been struggling for pace the entire season. Their rivals Red Bull have been considerably faster and dangerous this year. Red Bull’s other driver Sergio Perez pulled out a shock win at the Azerbaijan GP increasing their lead over the Silver Arrows.
With Silverstone approaching next week, it will be an important race for Lewis Hamilton who is now without a win in five races. He has surely been outperformed by the Dutchman Verstappen, who looks unstoppable currently.
