Aleister Black is keen to fight Matt Riddle it seems
WWE Raw star Aleister Black teased appearing on SmackDown after Matt Riddle was introduced as the newest member of the Blue brand’s roster.
Riddle had been impressive during his time on NXT and is a former tag team champion. The American is a former MMA star too, and most of his fights have been hard-hitting affairs.
The Original Bro, as he is called, was introduced by Kurt Angle on SmackDown and a vignette was shown.
WWE on Fox decided to think of some of the best fights on SmackDown with Riddle possibly going up against Daniel Bryan or Cesaro. They also teased a clash against Black, but the Dutch Destroyer is on the Raw brand.
Black also teased a coming to SmackDown only to face the Original Bro. The Dutchman is also one of the most hard-hitting stars on WWE, and a fight between the pair would be awesome.
Black tweeted the following message to Riddle:
“Maybe I’ll come hang out for a night at some point.”
Riddle’s last fight was the one against Timothy Thatcher in a Pit Fight. The Original Bro lost out to the impressive Thatcher, and it will be interesting to see what happens to Riddle next.
Riddle has transitioned from the world of MMA to WWE rather seamlessly and was one of the most entertaining performers on NXT.
Black, on the other hand, has been destroying the competition on Raw and seems to be in a rivalry against Seth Rollins and his group.
Black couldn’t save Humberto Carrillo from being destroyed last week, and he could see retribution this time around.
The Dutchman could be an ideal opponent for Riddle given their hard-hitting style. Hopefully, WWE doesn’t mess up this NXT star on the main roster, something that they have done in the past.
