Alexa Bliss and Mandy Rose fight it out on Twitter over Goddess WWE nickname
The whole drama began yesterday with a simple tweet from the returning Eva Marie. ‘Eva-Lution’ called herself the Super Role Model, something which irked Bayley.
Bayley has been referring to herself as the ‘Role Model’ for a while now and she let WWE creative know her feelings.
Mandy Rose then quoted Bayley’s tweet to take her side and relate this incident to the time when WWE gave Alexa Bliss the ‘Goddess’ nickname.
The problem here is that Rose is already called the ‘Golden Goddess’ on the show, and not just back then, but way before she made it on the main roster.
Rose had that nickname even when she was fighting it out on NXT in 2016. So, her reservation about Bliss’ nickname is probably warranted.
Word got around quick about Rose’s tweet and Bliss eventually stumbled upon it. She stated that she was going to let this one slide. Her tweet read:
“I’m gonna spare you for this one… @wwe_mandyrose …throw your own pity party [Partying emoji]”
Bliss is not really being called the Goddess now, though, considering her immense change in character over the past few months.
Ever since her rivalry/friendship/encounter/?? with ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt, Bliss’ role has been relegated to that of a side character that is focused on everything apart from wrestling.
Randy Orton has seemingly escaped that storyline as he continues to work with Matt Riddle, and WWE fans would want something similar for Bliss in the near future. She might have separated from The Fiend after WrestleMania, but her character is still stuck in that phase.
