WWE star Alexa Bliss refutes claims of fans walking out during her Charlotte Flair segment
Former WWE Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss has refused to accept the claims made by Wrestling Observer Newsletter editor Dave Meltzer that fans walked out during her segment with Charlotte Flair.
Wrestling Observer Radio (h/t Wrestling Inc.) reported that around 8000 fans were in attendance at the PNC Arena for the Monday Night Raw in Raleigh. Still, about 1500 fans got up and left the arena during Alexa’s Playground segment between Bliss and Charlotte.
However, Bliss got upset with this report and took this to her Twitter and said nothing like this happened. She mentioned Meltzer to move on and use the hashtag You’re Embarrassing Yourself.
This is what she tweeted,
Sorry Meltzer (or whatever) you can’t get clout off of our segment … move on
#StopLying#LitterallyDidntHappen#YoureEmbarassingYourself
Bliss and multiple fans have dismissed all these reports regarding the leaving of fans from the arena. However, Bryan Alvarez noted that around 700 fans walked out and not 1500. But Bliss and multiple fans both have said that nothing like this happened.
The Playground segment, which saw Charlotte ripping the head of the CHARLY doll that Bliss gifted to Charlotte, was the build-up to their main event at WWE Extreme Rules.
Charlotte is a 15-time women’s world champion and will defend his WWE Raw Women’s Championship title against Alexa Bliss, who will also be looking forward to winning her fourth championship title.
Bliss is also the first woman to win both the Raw and SmackDown women’s championship titles.
It is a long-going rivalry between The Queen of WWE and Bliss. It will be pretty interesting to see who comes out on top at WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view.
