“What a surprise” – Alexa Bliss’ deleted Tweet following Ronda Rousey’s Royal Rumble win causes stir

Alexa Bliss played ‘tweet-and-delete’ even as Ronda Rousey made a surprise return and won the women’s Royal Rumble

Ronda Rousey made a surprise entry during the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble. The former UFC great who hadn’t stepped inside the ring since WrestleMania 35, came in as the 28th entrant in the women’s main event.

‘Rowdy’ eliminated big names – Charlotte Flair, Brie Bella, Nikki A.S.H and Shotzi and emerged victorious to cap off a stunning performance. She spent more than 10 minutes inside the ring.

During the event, Raw women’s Superstar Alexa Bliss who is currently undergoing therapy on her journey back to the ring was pretty active on Twitter.

No sooner did Rousey win the Royal Rumble, Bliss posted a GIF with the caption “What a surprise.” However, she deleted the Tweet quickly.

A majority of the WWE community speculated that Bliss was taking a shot at the WWE script hinting that it was predictable.

A while later she made up for the deleted Tweet. Posting a clarification Tweet, Bliss wrote: “That’s the surprise! I still have to work on me…”

Alexa Bliss congratulated everyone who participated in the Royal Rumble whilst also lauding Ronda Rousey.

Taking to Twitter, she tweeted:

“So great to see everyone in the rumble! Congrats to Ronda!”

Bliss is expected to make a return anytime soon. She is set to make a return in the gimmick she had before her hiatus.
