Manuel Alfonso Andrade Oropeza, wrestled under the ring name Andrade “Cien” Almas (later, Andrade) in WWE. He is currently plying his trade in AEW with the ring name Andrade El Idolo. The Mexican professional wrestler was a regular feature on the black and gold version of NXT. It is a well-known fact that NXT, the developmental brand of WWE, was the brainchild of Triple H.
Triple H announced this week that he will not be competing again inside the squared circle. The WWE Universe is quite disappointed but grateful at the same time for the hard work that The Game has put in to entertain the fans in a career spanning over three decades.
The 52-year-old was responsible for unearthing new talents on the brand. The likes of Sasha Banks, Asuka, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Rhea Ripley, and many other popular names on the main roster have come through the NXT ranks. Among the male wrestlers, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Bray Wyatt, Big E, Cedric Alexander, and of course Andrade, have all taken the NXT route.
Many wrestlers and other staff in WWE have thanked the Cerebral Assassin for his continual support. Andrade joined the list with a special message for his dream opponent. The former one-time NXT champion tweeted:
“Thank you for everything Sir @TripleH you will always have my respect and admiration #MyDreamMatch“
