Andrade is engaged to Charlotte Flair, the daughter of the legendary Ric Flair
Earlier this year in March, Andrade requested his release from the WWE, and was released from the promotion on the 21st of March, after an initial denial.
A month later, Andrade joined the Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide and challenged Kenny Omega. He will be taking on Omega on the 14th of August at TripleMania.
Andrade also joined the AEW, after making a surprise debut on the 4th of June at AEW Dynamite.
He recently looked back on his WWE career. Despite teaming up with various WWE Superstars, he never got the chance to feature alongside his partner, Charlotte Flair.
In a recent interview with Hugo Savinovich of Lucha Libre Online, he expressed his desire to feature alongside his partner Charlotte and her legendary father Ric Flair, as a part of a faction.
He also named wrestlers Nakamura and RUSH as a part of his dream-team.
“I have never been with my fiancé (Charlotte) on TV, so it would be a dream to be with her, whether that be in this faction or not. I also have never been on TV with Ric, who is always a great person with me, so it would be very cool to make a faction with my friend, RUSH, with my fiancé and my father-in-law, and with Nakamura, who has treated me well since Japan and is always a great person. This group would be wonderful, and I think we would make history. I hope this dream becomes a reality in a not-so-distant future.” [Wrestling-Edge]
Charlotte Flair requests everyone to find a partner like Andrade
Charlotte Flair penned a deep and touching message while also sharing a post-workout photo of herself and partner Andrade.
She wrote:
“Find someone who wants to invest in you, see you win, support your vision & fall in love with you daily! Someone who motivates you to become a better person and shows you the potential you don’t see in yourself.”
