WWE star Asuka was left astounded by the power of the Honda engines in the Red Bull cars and wanted Max Verstappen to go crazy
Max Verstappen is dominating the 2021 F1 season and picked up his second win on the spin at the Austrian GP.
He led from the first lap and did a spectacular job to open his gap at the top of the standings. Verstappen is on 182 points and is clear ahead of defending champion Lewis Hamilton.
While there has been no denying Verstappen’s abilities, his car’s power has often been the problem.
This season, however, Honda have provided quite an engine to Red Bull. Verstappen’s car is a match for the Mercedes powered cars, which Hamilton drives, and the Red Bulls have constantly been the best team on track.
Many fans have been shocked at how great Verstappen has been and that list has Asuka also in it.
The Japanese star was left a little astounded by the power of the Honda engines and could not believe these F1 cars were reaching 300km/h.
Max Verstappen takes Honda to the moon
Asuka certainly got behind the young Dutchman and wanted him to take the car beyond his wildest imagination.
Of course, there is a bit of a language barrier as Asuka struggled with English early on in her WWE career.
However, that has improved drastically over the past year or so. She even tweeted the Honda motto and well, Verstappen put in another great performance.
Asuka seems to be the latest fan of Red Bull and it will be interesting to see if she supports them from next year too.
Honda will be exiting the sport after a rough return with McLaren and then with Red Bull. They might be going out but there is no doubt they could celebrate a title if Verstappen keeps racing this way.
