WWE Raw Superstar Asuka calls herself the greatest Superstar in NXT history
Asuka is undoubtedly one of the best women’s wrestlers ever seen in the WWE, and now she claims that she is the greatest Superstar in the history of NXT.
This comes after WWE on FOX, posted a question for fans to answer as to whom did they think has been the greatest on the black and gold brand. Asuka replied with an emoji symbolising that she thinks it is no one else, but her.
Asuka has made a significant impact on WWE since arriving in NXT in 2015. Since then she has become a NXT Women’s Champion, Raw Women’s Champion, SmackDown Women’s Champion, Women’s Tag Team Champion, Royal Rumble and a Money in the Bank winner.
NXT began back in 2014, as a contest but was restructured in 2017 and now boasts the upcoming top wrestlers in the world. The likes of Adam Cole and Finn Balor on NXT just goes to show the progress made by the third brand of WWE.
She is now in her 6th year in WWE, but has stayed at the top with some amazingly good storylines with Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch etc.
Is Asuka ready for another title reign?
Asuka teamed up with Naomi to qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match. She is a former winner and will know what it takes to retrieve the contract with 7 of the best women in WWE. She has been away from the title scene ever since losing to Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania this year.
With Asuka in a different scenario this time around, she will look to win the ladder match and reclaim the gold from Ripley. Ripley, meanwhile, is engaged in a bitter feud with the ‘Queen’ Charlotte Flair.
This opportunity could help Asuka begin another dominant title reign, which has made her one of the best wrestlers in the women’s roster.
