World Champion Austin Aries reacts to Wisconsin Christmas attack
Wisconsin’s Christmas celebrations saw a car rammed into the parade and caused five deaths and more than 40 injured. Five-time World Champion pro wrestler Austin Aries took to Twitter to express his grief towards the incident.
He expressed that he grew up in Waukesha and was shocked at how can someone take such horrible action. However, he further sends some gratitude towards his hometown.
“I grew up in Waukesha, WI just a few blocks from where the Christmas parade terror attack happened today. I don’t understand what motivates anyone to do something so horrible and senseless. Sending love to those in my hometown tonight.”
On Sunday evening, a driver rammed into a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin, killing at least five people and injuring around 40 people.
Almost 18 minor victims got treated at the Children’s Wisconsin hospital in Milwaukee, and the victims were ranged from three to 16 years old, with six requiring surgery. Here is another Tweet from former WWE Superstar Austin Aries who grew up in that area.
A person named Darrell Brooks was identified as the driver by multiple media outlets.(h/t Independent). It was seen from the footage that a red SUV barreling at high speed into band members and cheerleaders marching, striking multiple people and scattered the crowd. It was a horrific incident and was a targeted crime.
There is still no proof that it was a terrorist attack, but the scenes looked not so good as many minors got injured. A lot of stars and fans across the globe has shown grief towards the event.
