Austin Theory took selfies with Jeff Hardy after attacking him on Raw
Former NXT superstar Austin Theory was drafted to Raw on the first night of WWE Drafts. Theory made his first appearance on Raw during this week’s episode and was talking about how Jeff Hardy has inspired him. He also said that he grew up as a Hardy fan and wanted to be like Hardy.
Theory then proceeded on to ask Hardy for a selfie, interestingly enough he took a selfie and then went on to attack Hardy. The superstar then took a selfie while Hardy was laid out in the ring.
Theory took to Twitter to share his selfies with Hardy where he said:
“First night on #WWERaw! I got a selfie with @JEFFHARDYBRAND !!!!”
Hardy has yet to respond to this attack by Theory. However, it looks like a storyline for the new Raw member and could possibly be a start to a new rivalry in the brand.
How did Austin Theory react to being drafted?
After the Friday night’s WWE draft edition Theory spoke with Megan Morant who asked him how he was feeling. Theory was absolutely ecstatic and said:
“I am so excited, my shirt is going to explode. It’s already tight, but it’s gonna explode because Monday Night RAW just became ‘All Day’. That’s what I say, I say ‘All Day,’ it kinda works, OK? I can’t control myself”
Theory had previously worked on Raw for a short period of time in early 2020 but was sent back to NXT. This is going to be his second stint with the red brand and it seems to have gone underway with a bang.
