Austin Theory claps back at people hating on him as he made his way to the Survivor Series Raw team
During this week’s Monday night Raw a shocking replacement in the team representing the red brand on Survivor Series was made. It was announced that Rey Mysterio will be replaced by Austin Theory. Following the announcement, Theory was receiving a lot of hate for replacing Mysterio.
However, Theory decided to act against it. He took to Twitter to clap back at the haters and said:
“You’ll are really mad at me. I guess I should quit….like you all would!!!”
Theory was having none of it and made sure to reply to the haters with a fitting reply. Furthermore, it was not only Mysterio who got replaced from the Survivor Series team. His son Dominik Mysterio was also replaced by Bobby Lashley. The new Raw men’s team for the 5-on-5 tag team match now features Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, Kevin Owens, Theory and also Lashley.
Why were the Mysterio’s excluded from the team?
During the main event of this week’s Monday night Raw, Mysterio and Lashley faced off in a singles match. The former WWE champion was able to get a victory over Mysterio. After the match, while his son was checking in on him, Adam Pearce appeared and announced that they will be finding a replacement for Mysterio.
Theory then appeared and attacked Dominik which was enough to impress Pearce who handed the spot to him. It is worth noting that Dominik was replaced by Lashley last week. Theory later took to Twitter to share his excitement about making it to the team. Have a look at what he tweeted:
It will be interesting to see how the new and upgraded Raw team does against SmackDown’s team come Survivor Series.
