Rob Van Dam is open to starring in a movie alongside Jean-Claude Van Damme
Former WWE Superstar Rob Van Dam has claimed that he would be very much open to working in a movie alongside Hollywood superstar Jean-Claude Van Damme.
RVD and Van Damme look eerily similar to each other. In fact, RVD’s ring name was given to him because of the same reason early in his wrestling career by a promoter in Florida.
Currently with Impact Wrestling, RVD has previously appeared in various TV Shows and films.
RVD ready to be a movie star
A fan of the Impact Wrestling star, Sara Scott, tweeted saying that she used to tell people Rob Van Dam and Jean-Claude Van Damme were brothers and wondered how cool it would be if the two starred in a movie together.
Responding to the tweet, RVD wrote: “I think that would be awesome!”

RVD made his name in Paul Heyman’s long-defunct promotion ECW in the late 90s. He moved to WWF/WWE back in 2001 and spent five years with the company, before leaving in 2006.
After a few years in the independent circuit, he signed up with TNA in 2010, before returning to WWE for a brief period in 2013. The veteran pro-wrestler has been with Impact Wrestling since 2019.
Despite his association with the brand, he made a cameo appearance on WWE last year, featuring on the Raw Reunion special episode.
It will certainly be interesting to see him star in a movie alongside Jean-Claude. The Hollywood star was known for his action movies in the 90s, and both stars could do their own stunts.
