WWE SmackDown is not really happy with trading Becky Lynch for Charlotte Flair
The recently conducted WWE Drafts 2021 saw WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch going to RAW and WWE Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair being picked for SmackDown. These draft effects will come into place from October 22nd.
The trading between the Queen and Becky was not received well backstage. It was reported by Ringside News that Fox was trying from the very first to get Charlotte on SmackDown. She was even featured during Fox promos before their debut on the network, hoping to be a part of the blue brand.
They also reported that the creative team told about Flair and Lynch trade was a trendy topic of discussion during this week, especially how Raw will be getting Becky and SmackDown will be getting Flair.
“We were told about another popular discussion point backstage in WWE, but it might upset some people. Here it goes… We were told that people were talking about “how Raw gets Becky (who everyone likes) and SmackDown gets Charlotte (who is not popular behind the scenes).”
Becky Lynch will be defending her SmackDown Women’s title at Crown Jewel
WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch will be facing arch-rival Bianca Belair whom she couldn’t defeat on Extreme Rules PPV and Sasha Banks, who made her return at the same event and disqualified the whole contest between Belair and Lynch.
They will be facing each other in a triple threat match, and out of all these superstars, The Boss is the only one going to the blue brand.
It will be interesting to see that who comes out on top between these highly competitive superstars.
