Here is the Backstage update on why Randy Orton has been missing on RAW
The fourteen-time world champion Randy Orton has been missing for a few days on Raw, and here is an update on why he has been out.
The Apex Predator has not been seen present in this week’s WWE Raw post Extreme Rules, and according to PWInsider (h/t Wrestling Inc.), there have been some words going around saying that Orton has not been cleared to perform this week.
However, there still is no word about when he will be coming back and why exactly he has not been cleared. Additionally, there has been some speculations that he might be involved in the WWE Draft, which will begin this Friday on SmackDown, and it will be wrapped by following Monday’s Raw episode.
The Viper has not wrestled since defeating AJ Styles on the Raw episode of September 20.
The Apex Predator was not being booked for the Extreme Rules despite being part of Riddle’s Raw Tag Team Champions. They were also not scheduled to defend their title on WWE Extreme Rules 2021.
Orton also missed the house show in which he was part and missed the Monday Night Raw, which saw riddle lose to AJ Styles. Orton was not even found backstage in this week’s Raw.
Randy had quite a few long hiatus in the past, and even this year, he went for a long hiatus after not qualifying for the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Still, he did return in big fashion and won the WWE Tag team Championship with Riddle.
It will be interesting to see the actual reason for it. Is it the Draft, or is any injury that Orton must be facing?
