Baron Corbin made a shock appearance on WWE Raw as he attacked Drew McIntyre

Bobby Lashley has several stars on the hunt as they wanted to take out Drew McIntyre before WrestleMania 37.

The WWE Champion confirmed that anyone taking out McIntyre before the show would replace him and get a crack at the gold.

Ricochet and Mustafa Ali tried to do so on Raw but both failed. McIntyre was done with all the games and called Lashley out at the end of the show.

The All Mighty and McIntyre then started having a brawl but there was a surprise waiting. Baron Corbin, of SmackDown, came out of nowhere to attack McIntyre.

He helped Lashley out a lot and instructed the champion to keep using the Hurt Lock on McIntyre. Lashley used the finisher on McIntyre thrice and the Scot was out cold. The All Mighty took another step to ensure McIntyre isn’t 100% fit for WrestleMania but why did Corbin attack the former champ?

Corbin did answer that question on his social media as he posted a picture of the trio together from a few years back:

“We used to run #WWERaw, we destroyed monsters and punished everyone.

Corbin, Lashley and McIntyre teamed up for a few matches back in 2018. They defeated the likes of Finn Balor, Elias and Braun Strowman but it was McIntyre that ended up teaming with Shane McMahon and then starting his journey as a face.

Is Baron Corbin a part of the Hurt Business?

Another big story that developed on WWE was the split of the Hurt Business. Lashley attacked Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin after they failed to beat Drew McIntyre in a handicap match a week ago.

Corbin coming out to help Lashley could have seen The King join the Business. However, this seems to be a one off appearance.

MVP was speaking during Raw Talk and confirmed that The Hurt Business are always looking out for new recruits.

They will need a few given that the stable is now down to just Lashley and MVP at the moment.
