The Cerebral Assassin congratulated Batista on the 20th anniversary of the latter’s debut in WWE via a heartfelt post on his official Twitter handle.
Batista is one of the legends of WWE. Triple H and Batista know each other quite well as they worked together in one of the most renowned heel stables in pro wrestling called Evolution. Randy Orton who completed his 20 years in WWE a few days back, was also a member of the stable and so was two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair.
Batista was the face of SmackDown ever since he was drafted to WWE’s blue brand back in 2005. He had some epic feuds with JBL, The Undertaker, The Great Khali, Edge, and many more. Triple H later turned out to be one of the arch-rivals of the Animal. They had great storylines and some epic matches.
Triple H posted a tweet for Batista where he wrote
“In the 20 years since @DaveBautista was first introduced to the @WWE Universe, he has never stopped growing and evolving. A main event player, multi-time champion and Hollywood star, one thing has stayed the same: he never stopped chasing his dreams. Congratulations Dave! #Proud“
Another WWE legend John Cena also posted a tweet praising former tag team partner Batista for being outspoken, honest, and one of the nicest and most giving people that he has ever met.
“20yrs ago @DaveBautista began turning skeptics into believers. Crafting a remarkable legacy in @WWE and continues to amaze with his incredible work as an actor. He’s outspoken, honest & 1 of the nicest, most giving people I’ve ever met. Happy 20yrs from an OWV classmate.Cheers!”
Batista is a two-time WWE Champion and a four-time World Heavyweight Champion. He also held the tag team titles on 4 occasions. The Hollywood star also won the Royal Rumble on two separate occasions in 2005 and 2014.
