Batista names Rey Mysterio and four others he wants to be part of zombie heist
Speaking in an interview with Coming Soon (h/t Wrestling Inc.), former WWE Superstar Batista has named the five pro-wrestlers he’d take with him on a zombie heist, with Rey Mysterio one among them.
Batista, who retired from WWE a couple of years ago and is carving out quite a name for himself in Hollywood, was promoting his latest movie, Army of the Dead.
During the aforementioned interview, Batista was asked who would he bring along with him for a zombie heist. And the former WWE Champion revealed some interesting names that he would want to tag along with in such a scenario.
Naming the five wrestlers, Batista started off with Titus O’Neil, who he wanted to be his right-hand man. ‘The Animal’ then picked, MVP, the founder of The Hurt Business, as he has got everything that Batista would need.
“So five right off the top of my head, I’m bringing Titus (O’Neal). He’s my number one guy. He’s my right-hand man. I’m bringing MVP. He’s my dude. He’s my soldier like that dude is, you know, he’s definitely coming with me ’cause he’s got everything that you need.”
Batista then went on to pick Rey Mysterio as his next choice as the Lucha legend can do things that a lot of human beings are incapable of. Then, it was The Deadman, The Undertaker himself, because he is a legit badass.
“I’m bringing Rey Mysterio because I believe Rey can do things that a lot of human beings are unable to do. I’m bringing Undertaker because Undertaker’s just a badass. I know we can depend on that dude.”
For his final pick, Batista chose Paul Wight, a.k.a., The Big Show for an interesting reason.
“I’m also going to bring Big Show because if we need to sacrifice someone for zombies because obviously, you know, Big Show’s the guy. “They will spend like days eating that guy. So we don’t have to worry about it. We know we got days to move around without zombies chasing us ’cause they’re going to be busy eating Big Show.”
Directed by Zack Snyder, with Batista in the lead, Army of the Dead hits Netflix and select theaters on Friday, May 21st.
