The Hurt Business breaking up on RAW has really irked WWE fans, and Batista is the latest to join them
This week’s RAW episode saw ‘The Hurt Business’ suffer a split as Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander walked out on Bobby Lashley and MVP.
The tiff arose after the WWE Heavyweight Champion, Bobby Lashley, announced that he would give a title opportunity to whoever shows up and takes out Drew McIntyre.
This led to Lashley losing his cool at Alexander and Benjamin for losing in a 2-on-1 handicap match against ‘The Chosen One’.
And former WWE superstar, Batista, joined in on criticizing the promotion for doing away with a very successful stable.
He took to his Twitter account to say that WWE were not in their right minds to go through with this decision and that it was bad for business.
Is The Hurt Business still alive despite their split on RAW?
It is the suddenness of this split is something that caught everyone by surprise. While it could be WWE wanting to give MVP and Lashley more spotlight, it still makes little sense.
The faction was doing incredibly well and just enjoyed a glorious moment together when Lashley won the WWE championship against The Miz.
And with a stable like RETRIBUTION being shoved down the fan’s throats, it seems unfair to the WWE Universe that the promotion has taken away the one stable that they really wanted to see on television.
Nevertheless, MVP confirmed that the faction is still alive, claiming that he and Bobby Lashley are The Hurt Business.
It was rumoured that Baron Corbin could be a part of it after his appearance on RAW alongside Lashley, but MVP shot down those rumours as well.
It remains to be seen what step WWE now takes with THB. They will know that the fans have not taken this well and there always stands the possibility of a reunion; however unlikely that may be.
