Bayley and Bianca Belair are rumoured to be taking part in a hair vs hair match on WWE
It has been rumoured that WWE SmackDown women’s champion Bianca Belair, and the former champion of that very belt, Bayley, could collide in an unconventional match.
The hair vs hair match, as it is being proposed for the two, sees the loser lose their hair and go bald. In this situation, the stakes would be much higher.
Bianca Belair has used her braided hair to great advantage against opponents in the past. Most recently, it was the use of her hair at WrestleMania Backlash that saw her beat Bayley.
Nothing has been official yet, but the biggest hint of such a match taking place came from ‘The Role Model’ herself.
As seen above, Bayley tagged Bianca Belair on her Instagram story in a throwback post by WWE that shared a snippet from the hair vs hair match between two WWE legends some 19 years back.
Could Bianca Belair and Bayley emulate Edge vs Kurt Angle in a hair vs hair match?
Edge and Kurt Angle fought in one of the most iconic hair vs hair matches in pro wrestling history on 19th May 2002 at Judgement Day.
‘The Rated R Superstar’ pinned Angle to win the match and proceeded to shave his hair clean. And since then, the Olympic Gold Medalist hasn’t tried to grow it back in that same volume.
But that has worked out for ‘The Wrestling Machine’, with a shaved head an integral part of his look. Could the same happen for Belair vs Bayley?
Bayley has threatened to do the same to ‘The EST of WWE’ by tagging her in that story of hers, so it is very likely that this will happen.
Belair would obviously have the most to lose in this match but the utility of her hair in her wrestling is what will make this match high stakes and fun to see for the fans.
