Bayley says Bianca Belair has a reason to be scared of her at their WrestleMania Backlash encounter
The WWE SmackDown women’s title will be up for grabs at WrestleMania Backlash this weekend as former champion Bayley, and current holder Bianca Belair clash in a much-awaited battle.
‘The EST of WWE’ won the belt at WrestleMania 37 in glorious fashion. She beat Sasha Banks in an enthralling match to win the belt for the first time in her career.
It has been a great upward curve for Belair in the past few months. She stated after the title fight that she wanted a rematch with Banks.
But WWE has instead put her up against Bayley while Banks takes some time off the screen to make her next title push more meaningful.
And ‘The Role Model’ was talking about the upcoming encounter earlier this week on WWE’s The Bump.
Bayley says Bianca Blair should fear her at WrestleMania Backlash
The former SmackDown women’s champ stated that she is in a different mindset right now than she was a year back and is all ‘messed up’, which is something that Bianca must fear.
“I’m in a totally different mindset than I was. And you guys thought I was on a different mindset a year ago, 6 months ago, or during the PC era. I’m all messed up now so Bianca better be scared.”
Bayley mentioned the harrowing experience it was for her in the stands seeing Belair win at WrestleMania against Banks, and how it will further motivate her in her title encounter.
“I had to sit back in the crowd and watch Bianca Belair main event WrestleMania, let alone freaking win a WrestleMania main event championship match against a girl that I’ve come up with all these years. You think that was good for me? You think that made me feel good? Now I’m taking it all out on her on Sunday, okay?”
The two have had a couple of SmackDown fights since the last Survivor Series and it was Belair who eliminated at the 2021 women’s Royal Rumble. It will be interesting to see where WWE goes with this storyline with both Bayle and Belair deserving to be holding that belt.
