WWE star Bayley is enjoying her time as the SmackDown Women’s Champion

Bayley celebrated 300 days as the SmackDown Women’s Champion by having a shot at some of her detractors.

The Role Model turned heel a while back and has been excellent as the champion. While some of her earlier title defences weren’t all that great, her teaming up with Sasha Banks has led to the Golden Role Models era.

The pair are double champions in WWE, as they also hold the Women’s tag team titles.

However, there have been many who haven’t been impressed by Bayley or her tenure as the SmackDown Women’s Champion.

Hitting the 300-day mark is certainly an achievement, and Bayley was quite to hit out at those who have been criticising her:

“And I ain’t “holding it down”. I ain’t “filling a void”. I am… ding dong!!!!!!! Hello? Your consistent champion!!!!!!”

Bayley keeps her gold

While Bayley has needed some help in keeping her title, the Role Model hasn’t shied away from defending the crown.

She was in action against Nikki Cross on last week’s SmackDown and kept hold of the gold. However, that segment will be remembered for The Fiend attacking Alexa Bliss and hitting the mandible claw on her.

Asuka attacked Bayley on Raw (WWE)

Bayley and Banks have been the most exciting female talents on WWE recently, and it will be interesting to see how the pair keep hold of their titles.

Bayley should defend her title at SummerSlam but no match has been set up yet. However, it would be difficult seeing her lose the title for a while and she could end up crossing the one-year mark as the champion.

Banks, on the other hand, has been involved in a rivalry with Asuka. However, Shayna Baszler also is interested in getting her hands on the Raw Women’s title.
