WWE Superstar Bayley shared a photo of Ruby Riott on her Instagram, calling her ‘irreplaceable.’
Bayley and Riott had a similar rise in WWE. They made their debuts on NXT and slowly moved up the roster. Riott’s faction called ‘The Riott Squad’ was also one of the most destructive in recent times.
Riott was released by the WWE on Wednesday, along with six Superstars after suffering budget cuts due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Riott was dubbed as one of the ‘kindest souls’ by various Superstars in the locker room. So, it is clear that WWE‘s decision wasn’t taken too kindly by the roster.
Riott is no stranger to the independent circuit and will be surely back on the wrestling scene after the completion of her 90 day clause.
Is Bayley nearing another Championship?
Bayley has been on a long feud with SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair. The duo have been at it, after Blair won her first singles gold at WrestleMania, early this year. Bayley only other hand, has had a disappointing 2021, featuring as the unofficial “co-host” at WrestleMania without featuring in a match.
Belair won the title match at WrestleMania Backlash against Bayley, making her first defence a successful one. Bayley is undoubtedly going to face her again at the next PPV. This time it is too hard to call who will walk away from it as the SmackDown Womens’ Champion.
Bayley has won many accolades in her time in WWE, including the WWE Raw Women’s Championship, the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship and the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. She is the first women’s Triple Crown Champion and Grand Slam winner in WWE history.
