WWE Superstar Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair had a confrontation backstage after title exchange
Last night on SmackDown, Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and SmackDown Women’s Champion had the title exchange as Lynch was drafted to Raw and Flair to SmackDown at WWE Draft 2021.
The End of the show saw the Championship Exchange segment between the two superstars. But there was a sudden slip during the exchange where Flair threw the belt on the mat, which was not supposed to happen.
However, WWE official Sonya Deville somehow handled the situation and ensured that Flair retrieved the belt and handed it to her, which eventually happened.
Deville then asked Lynch to hand over the belt, but she also had the belt at Flair, which was not part of the plan. This made things a little heated which led to the confrontation between these stars backstage.
A backstage confrontation between two WWE Women’s Champion after last night’s SmackDown
According to PWinsider.com, Charlotte Flair voiced concerns before WWE went on air about the Championship Exchange segment featuring Becky Lynch.
It was also mentioned that Flair voiced her tone that neither she nor her title reign should look weak during the segment.
The pair then exchanged words backstage and the plan to throw the belt down and tossing it wasn’t how the segment was supposed to go.
Although the entry of Sasha Banks did put the segment back on track after the FOX show went off the air, Flair went to the back, and it was reported that there was some severe confrontation between Lynch and Flair, Big Time Becks put the allegation that Flair was “trying to make her look bad.” However, the situation didn’t get physical.
We might see Lynch taking any one of the two at Survivor Series.
