WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch opens up about Charlotte Flair title exchange
Becky Lynch spoke about her title exchange incident with Charlotte Flair and how difficult it is to work with someone with natural life heat.
The Raw Women’s Champion recently spoke in SI Media Podcast (h/t Wrestling Inc.), where she was asked about the heat between Flair and Lynch and what exactly happened on the title exchange incident.
Lynch revealed that they don’t talk anymore and said that the locker room needs a hero, and she is all right being a hero.
“I don’t know, man,” Lynch said. “We don’t talk anymore. We don’t talk. So all I’ll say is the locker room needs a hero sometimes. And sometimes somebody’s gotta be a hero. I’m all right being that hero. That’s what I’ll say on that matter.”
In the title exchange segment on SmackDown, Flair accidentally dropped the title, which was not planned, resulting in a heated exchange between them backstage.
Lynch was asked about how more complex it is to work with someone with real-life heat. She said that it is 100% more complicated since it needs two people together to create magic. It is like an at, and both the stars help each other look good.
“Oh, 100% more difficult,” Lynch admitted. “Yeah, yeah, yeah. That’s the thing. When you’ve got two people that are wanting to work together to make magic, then you make magic.”
SmackDown Women’s Champion Flair and Lynch are set to face off at Survivor Series, for which they will be face to face again, and it will be interesting to see what can be the outcome of the match.
