Becky Lynch set to face Liv Morgan next to defend her Raw women’s championship
This week on Monday night Raw we saw a new challenger for Becky Lynch and her Raw women’s championship. A fatal 5-way match was scheduled between Liv Morgan, Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, Carmella and also Queen Zelina to determine The Man’s next opponent.
Belair was dominating the match and looked set to win and it seemed like Belair might just get yet another opportunity to face Lynch, however, an interference from Doudrop cost her the title shot. The opportunity was capitalized by Morgan who ended up winning the match. She now has the opportunity to challenge the Raw women’s champion for a title match.
How did Becky Lynch react to Liv Morgan’s victory?
The Man is certainly not afraid of any challenges that come her way. We have seen in the past that Lynch is not deterred from what stands in front of her. Just like that, she was not bothered by Morgan getting the title shot and also sent out a message for her on Twitter challenging the number one contender. Lynch said:
“Come get it.”
Lynch has made her thoughts clear and sent out a straightforward message for her newest challenger. It seems like WWE have finally shifted away from the long running rivalry between Lynch and Belair which lasted for months.
Fans were excited to see what’s next for Lynch after the Belair rivalry seemed to be over as she defeated the EST yet again last week on Raw. Now, the Man has Morgan in front of her. Whether Morgan is able to beat Lynch for the Raw women’s title or not, only time will tell.
