Booker T thinks that WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch might miss WrestleMania
The latest episode of the Hall of Fame podcast saw Booker T speaking about the current injury reports surrounding Becky Lynch. She was not present at the WWE Monday Night Raw as she suffered an injury to her throat.
Booker addressed what WWE would do if she missed WrestleMania and said that he hoped anything like that happens for real. However, the former World Heavyweight Champion also said she shouldn’t vacate the championship.
“I don’t know, I don’t think she should vacate the championship or anything like that,” Booker stated. “I am really not sure what we would do in that situation right there. Maybe an immediate shot upon return, something like that? I am sure it’s going to throw a monkey wrench in everything as far as WrestleMania, if that was to happen. Let’s hope that’s not the case, so I am not sure.” (H/t Wrestling Inc.)
Booker T believes that a surprise appearance might be a solution to Becky Lynch’s problem
WWE Hall of Famer Booker T believes that if Lynch could not compete at the show, then a surprise appearance could help. He also mentioned that this would be a perfect time for Bayley to appear.
“How do you replace that match? How do you fix that? I don’t think there’s a whole lot of ways you can fix that,” Booker claimed. “Unless a Bayley came back as a surprise unexpected entry to step into that spot. Something like that is the only thing that I really think would pop the crowd enough to where they will kind of forget about that Becky Lynch not being there for a moment. Of course, that’s just my opinion.”
It will be interesting to see if Lynch misses out on WrestleMania, what WWE does whether it remains a title match or not. Fans would love to see Bayley make a comeback after a long time.
