Becky Lynch might return to the WWE at Money in the Bank 2021 which takes place this weekend
WWE Superstar and former RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch has been out of action for more than a year.
‘The Man’s last appearance in the promotion was at WrestleMania 36 in a RAW Women’s title match.
Lynch successfully defended her title against Shayna Baszler, and has been out of action since then due to pregnancy. A few weeks after her successful title defense against Baszler, Lynch relinquished her title to Asuka, citing pregnancy.
Lynch gave birth to a daughter, with fellow WWE Superstar Seth Rollins in December 2020. Ever since then, talks of Lynch returning to the WWE have been rife.
Over the past few months, she has also been posting photos of her looking incredibly fit and in the best shape of her life. And now, it looks like she might return soon to the promotion after a gap of almost 16 months.
Becky Lynch to return at Money In the Bank 2021?
The latest development is that, Lynch might make her much-anticipated return to the promotion at Money In The Bank 2021.
The news was first reported by PWInsider who stated that Lynch might be in attendance at the Money In The Bank 2021. She was also spotted training at the WWE Performance Center a couple of weeks ago.
The event is set to take place on the 18th of July at the Dickies Arena in Fortworth, Texas. MITB 2021 will mark WWE’s first event that will be held outside Florida since Elimination Chamber in March 2020.
The event features a plethora of high-voltage clashes viz. AJ Styles and Omos vs The Viking Raiders for the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship, Roman Reigns vs Edge for the WWE Universal Championship and Bobby Lashley vs Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship, amongst many others.
