WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch to get a new nickname
“The Man” Becky Lynch to get a new nickname from WWE. The company has already filed the trademark for Lynch’s new moniker.
WWE on Fox took to their Twitter account to share this news and termed Lynch’s name
“BIG.TIME. BECKS.”
WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch also took to her Twitter account to share the news and seemed quite upbeat about it.
“If you can’t join em, beat em.”
She again tweeted ,
“Big Time Becks + Anyone = Big Fight Feel.”
These are descriptions for “Big Time Becks” with USPTO filing (h/t Wrestling Inc.) :
“BIG TIME BECKS™ trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; By providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; and providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.”
Becky was previously trademarked as “The Man” by the WWE for the merchandising.
Big Time Becks will defend her Championship title against Bianca Belair at the WWE Extreme Rules.
Lynch made a shocking return at the SummerSlam and defeated Bianca within a record 26 seconds. She came back after almost a year gap.
The first African-American Champion, Belair will be looking to take her revenge against Big Time Becks.
