Becky Lynch is confident of making light work of Ronda Rousey in the ring
It is very obvious by now that the Man Becky Lynch is filled with confidence when it comes to her abilities. She has never backed down from a challenge and wishes to continue on the same tangent. Lynch has also recently claimed that if and when she squares of against Ronda Rousey, she will beat her with ease.
Lynch was the recent guest on Out of Character she talked about the thought of fighting Rousey. She said:
“Yeah, and I do think it will. The fact that I’ve had a baby and came back so great that she’ll probably want to one-up me. She’ll try to come back in three months. Then I’ll be right there to punch her right in the face, give her a Rock Bottom, out of here in 20 seconds, Ronda.”
Even though it’s been over two years since Rousey left WWE. Lynch seems to be pretty confident of the match still happening. Lynch feels like Rousey will try to “one-up” her, however, Lynch also says she’ll get the job done in just 20 seconds.
WWE tried to make this match up two times but the cards didn’t fold the way it was expected. A match was scheduled for the 2018 Survivor Series PPV but Nia Jax accidentally concussed Lynch which led to the cancellation of the match.
Later, they were set to fight again at the WrestleMania 35 but it was turned to a triple-threat match with Charlotte Flair getting included. Rousey has not returned to WWE after that and has also welcomed her first child since then.
Though the match between Lynch and Rousey is very unlikely you can never put it outside the realm of possibility.
