Former WWE Superstar Lana reveals text and call from Becky Lynch after release
WWE Superstar Becky Lynch was one of the first to console Lana after her exit from the company in early June.
“You can do it, you’re a strong woman.”
Lana was released with the likes of Aleister Black, Braun Strowman and Ruby Riott. She is now under a 90-day no compete clause which prevents her from signing any deal with a promotion. She was on the WWE Raw women’s roster and was part of a tag team with Naomi, before her release.
The news comes as a shock to her as she was reportedly about to receive a major push, but WWE made a decision against it. Her husband, Miro was a former Superstar in WWE but has now moved to AEW. He is the current TNT Champion and is one of the main stars in the division.
Lana will weigh her options before finalising her next move, after WWE brought back the likes of Samoa Joe and Zelina Vega. The company is suffering from budget cuts but is bringing back stars on a reduced salary.
Lana ended an 8-year association with WWE after her release and could well be the beginning of a new era for her.
Becky Lynch’s Collaboration with UFC
Becky Lynch is providing the voiceover for a promo for fellow Irish fighter Conor Mcgregor. He faces Dustin Poirier on July 11 at UFC 264, in the final trilogy meeting the pair. Both fighters have one win to their belt, and this fight could decide an undisputed winner.
Lynch’s voiceover is in support of her Irish roots as McGregor has put Ireland on the map. The two are the most famous fighters back in their hometown and fans are crazy about them. McGregor was last seen in the ring against Poirier but was beaten with a KO to end the match.
